SECRA Moodle
What is SECRA Moodle?
It is a learning management system introduced by the SECRA project. It is developed using the popular open-source LMS (Learning Management System).
What are the objectives of setting up the SECRA Moodle?
The overall objective of SECRA project is to contribute to more Resilient communities in Asia through institutionalized, monitored, systematic, innovative and inclusive university-enterprise collaboration (UEC) in climate change action and disaster resilience. In achieving this goal, SECRA platform was established for knowledge dissemination, communicating with partners, tracking the progress of its users and their knowledge gains.
Who are the intended users of SECRA Moodle?
The intended users of the SECRA Moodle are university staff, university students, and external organizations. The staff respondents are typically degree program directors and instructors (teachers) but can also be university administrators.

Prof. Chaminda S. Bandara
Prof. Chaminda S. Bandara is a Professor in Civil Engineering at the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Peradeniya, a Chartered Civil Engineer, and an Accredited Professional of the Green Building Council Sri Lanka. He has around 24 years of professional experience as a practicing civil and structural engineer, a researcher, and an academic. His research interests include damage assessment of structures, structural health monitoring, disaster resilience of structures, green building, and sustainability aspects of structures. He has been involved in curriculum and policy development activities at the university and currently serving the Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya as the Coordinator of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell. He has vast experience in managing large-scale civil engineering construction projects as a designer and a manager. He has published over 30 peer-reviewed journal papers, 2 books, 15 book chapters, and more than 50 conference papers. He is contributing to the Erasmus+ Projects: SECRA and FOUNTAIN at present and was contributed to the Erasmus+ Projects: CABARET, CCADRR and RECADOS in the past.
Roel C. Rodrigo
Dr. Roel C. Rodrigo is the Director, Institute for Excellence in Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning focused on providing programs on micro-credentialing and industry certifications to existing students, alumni, industry partners, and learners outside the institution seeking professional growth. He was the former Director, Learning Environments and Innovations Office managing educational technology tools for the use of learners and facilitators in a face-to-face, virtual, and/or hybrid set-up, while ensuring knowledge and skills are acquired on these learning tools. He is a faculty member in the College of Business, handling research, management, tourism, and hospitality courses, and is open for collaboration on providing learning and development opportunities to traditional and non-traditional types of learners and exploring business development potential related to tourism and hospitality.
